you owe it to your employees...

now let me just give you some advice if you are an employer. if you are an employer, you owe it to your employees to get rid of the kind of person who is always causing trouble. you owe it to your employees to maintain a positive morale.

have you ever seen one person sabotage a business? some of you have been in that kind of a situation.

as a youth pastor i had to ask one gang leader to leave the group and never come back until he was ready to get with the program. for the good of the total group, i had to ask the one to leave. that was tough but it was the right thing to do.

one person starts spreading rumors and they are causing problems and they are cranky. if you are an employer, never let a gossip or a troublemaker ruin or destroy the morale in your business.

it doesn't matter even if they are the top performer, fire them. don't put up with a negative attitude.

you say give me some biblical basis. ok. proverbs 22.10 in the living bible says, throw out the mocker and you will be rid of tension, fighting and quarrels. don't put up with them.

another good verse is titus 3.10, which has to do with pastors dealing with troublemakers in the church but i think it applies to business too and it says there, somebody who is stirring up strife and wrath it says, warn them once, warn them twice and then say, bye.

if you have a troublemaker in your business, don't put up with them. you owe it to your people to maintain a positive morale in your business.

just a thought from the front porch…
