The remedy…

What comes out of our mouth is an overflow of the heart.

Someone with an angry mouth has a harsh heart.  Somebody with a negative mouth is displaying a fearful heart.  Somebody with an overactive mouth, taking all the time, has an unsettled heart.  Somebody with a judgmental mouth, has a guilty heart.  Somebody with a foul mouth, has an impure heart.  Somebody who has to say "Hell" all the time has hell in the heart.  Somebody who has to be critical all the time, that mouth has an insecure heart.  Somebody who's boasting all the time, has an insecure heart.

On the other hand, somebody with an encouraging mouth has a happy heart.  Somebody with a gentle mouth has love in their heart.  Somebody with a controlled mouth has a peaceful heart.

So what's the remedy?  It's simple, it is a new heart.  Fortunately GOD specializes in giving new hearts.  JESUS CHRIST is the heart transplant expert.

Ezekiel 18:31(NIV), "Rid yourself of all the offenses you've committed.  Get a new heart and a new spirit."  Turn in that old one, that foul one that messed up one and get a new one.  Pray like David did, "Create in me a clean heart, O God."

No matter what you've done or where you've been or what's been out of control in your life the good news is you can get a fresh start.

Just a thought from the front porch…
