you have to do it if you want it...

here's a good one! mark 11.25 & 26 (ms), and when you assume the posture of prayer, remember that it's not all asking. if you have anything against someone, forgive—only then will your heavenly FATHER be inclined to also wipe your slate clean of sins.

a couple of thoughts. one. to realize that GOD will wipe our slate clean of our sins is unbelievable. that HE will make it so it is as if we have never sinned is unfathomable isn't it? i would do anything to make sure that was true wouldn't you?

two. then i wonder why we have so much trouble with forgiving others when it says only then will your heavenly FATHER be inclined to...

as a pastor i have seen so many people who get tripped up right here. all wrapped up in this i can't believe they would do that to me. there is no way i am going to forgive them and they live all wrapped up in their own quilt because they can't release others the wrong they did to them.

now i don't like to be inclined to put people down but i'm sorry that doesn't seem to make much sense to me, does it you? i can be freed from the wrongs that i have done to others, to myself, to GOD, but no way am i going to free that other person because of what they did to me.

it's all because of pride...pride and i'm sorry to tell you, GOD hates pride. HE really does, but HE lifts up the humble, those who acknowledge they need help, those who forgive others.

now what being humble means is you let GOD take care of the other person not you. and HE can do a better job at it.

who is it that is keeping you from living a life of freedom? why don't you on this valentine's day give then the gift of forgiveness and then you can have the gift of forgiveness if you ask GOD to forgive you of all that you have done. the gift that gives back to you.

well just some thoughts from bill's front porch on friday the 13th...

A humble heart will always see more blessing than those filled with pride. I can test myself over and over, and know that most either are mislead in their actions when they are provoked with sinful natures. Its amazing the gifts we recieve from following our Heavenly Father. It isn't super simple but its worth anything we must endure!!! Put into perspective, others have their own faults and convictions and its only our father above's job to judge others.
