well there is a lot of snow on my front porch this morning. now for some that is a real problem. they have to get up go out and shovel it so they can get to work and it is a pain. and they hate it. for others it is real opportunity, they get up and shovel it to show someone they care. my son-in-law got up this morning and shoveled it so i could get out to my car. a problem…an opportunity, the power of choice.
how you are viewing your difficulties goes a long way in how you handle them. are they enemies or are they friends? that is your choice.
are these problems a way for a GOD who hates me to get back at me because of all that i have done wrong or an opportunity for a GOD who loves me to strengthen me or to get me back on the right path? the power of choice.
james 1.2 (nlt), whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy.
the power of choice. i can choose joy or frustration. and a lot of it depends on my view of GOD and HIS view of me. does HE love me or does HE hate me.
what is your choice today? mine is love.
just some thoughts from inside the house. it is too cold out on the front porch…

It's jsut as easy to choice love as hate. It is a choice. Yet, as you make the choice to be black or white many seem to get thown off balance in the greyscales of things. Some can not comprehend the simplicity of the power of choice and its rewards. I was told by my father, if you always choice to love then only the man above will be in control because that's his foundation. It has proven itself as statement beyond true. Love will shine through us in ever way if we keep HIM within us!
