in this matter of dealing with difficult people you can't and you don’t need to please everybody.
in john 5.30 JESUS says (niv), I seek to please HIM who sent me. you see, even JESUS didn't try to please everybody. even GOD can't please everybody.
one person wants it to rain, another doesn’t want it to rain. one wants the jets to win, another wants them to lose.
down in texas they want oil prices to go up, we here in new york want them to go down.
even GOD can't please everybody and only a fool would try to do what even GOD can't do. so fact number one is that you can't please everybody.
look what luke 6.26 (niv) says, woe to you when all men speak well of you.
it's probably because you are dead. that's the only time that everybody is going to speak well of you, when you're dead.
i meet CHRISTians all of the time who feel very, very guilty, they have a crazy maker in their life. they have an irregular person and they try and try to make peace with this person but they fail and they feel so guilty. but the fact is, it may not be your fault. they are just flat out difficult. they are unpleasable so realize that you can't please everybody.
