connecting can be a problem...

i have been having some connecting problems on my pc which means i have connecting problems. last week i had problems with my phone. i could not charge my battery. another connecting problem. i haven't been getting into GOD'S word as much as i usually do. another connecting problem.

now if i just wanted to live unto myself then a connecting problem would not be a concern but it is to me. i find looking on my facebook and seeing what others have said gives me an emotional boost. also being able to write on my blog and then seeing if anyone has viewed it or responded to what i said gives me great satisfaction. or having the ability to receive a call from you or others keeps me from feeling isolated and of course being able to have a GOD connection makes all the difference in all the other connections in my life.

ruben welch wrote a book called, we really do need each other. and that is so true. i really do need others. one of the reason why i spend time every morning at a starbucks is because of my need to connect. i find a place at the door and drink my coffee and read my paper and strive to connect with as many people as i can. i do it with a smile or some nonsense phrase but at some point if i spend the time of being there, i will connect. there is a part that i must play in order to connect. i can't leave it up to others or be frustrated.

so i am doing all i can to get my computer fixed, i went out and got a new phone, and i am spending time in GOD'S word. there is a part for each of us to play in breaking this problem of isolation and doing what we can at connecting.

that is one of the main reasons for this blog because i wanted to connect with you. thanks for coming up on my front porch and making the effort to connect with me.

Thanks Bill, I will enjoy reading your blogs and communicating with you on facebook. Connecting is a problem these days - I could not connect with fax.com so could not send out faxes of my resume to get a job, so once again God says "connect to me first" then all these things will be added. Thanks, Marcia

that is so true, isn't it? as we connect with HIM HE helps us with all the other connections.
